For da cripes sake Frank you gots ta get started on that 'scat" library to compliment Gary's Jazz Big Band Library or I'll have to hire Elephants Jerry to sing the scat for all my demos! Hint Hint. Uck kuk kuk kuk! I Yams what I yams! Hey Olives, me sweet petunie.

UNLESSSSSSSSSSSSS! One of you have it by now in the woiksk! In that case disregard this obscene post and get back to woikin on whatcha been woikin on cause there aint no cure for the summer time blues.
Ah, summer ... can anyone tell me what that is? Sounds like a nice concept. Blue skies, sunshine, green grass, beautiful woman riding their bikes in the park and warm temperatures. Wow, what the hell is that?

You know, we should have a Garritan Jazz Voice Library. You could have Gary and Tom on each key going 'a', 'bop', 'biddley' etc.

Then with some care, you can put together the phrases... "a bip-bop-biddly-ooooh-wa-waaaaaah".

Gary I relinquish my rights to this idea so you can get cracking on it :-)

Cool Re: What goes nicely with a Jazz Library?

We're confusing 50's style vocal inflections to Big Band Swing and Jazz of the 40's! Whole different style.

Maybe Gary could sell the "Little Richard" library. All the appropriate 50s vocal inflections and a good piano.

For now, Take 6 is not a bad start, although it is limited, especially as it has to be converted from Kurzweil to sampler of your choice.

But how far do you take a scat lib?
Louie? (Zzzaaazzz-a-ma-tazz, Ooooohhhhh yyeahhhh!) Too Dixie for my taste, but there's a lot of that style here, apparently. There would be a market.

Ella? (That's traditional scat at it's finest. -a must have)

Karen Krog's vocalese? Ohh yeahhh. I'd definitely go there.

    Clark Terry's mumbling?

Buddy Rich's ranting (taken from the famous bus tape.)

So many styles, so few to choose from (at the moment, Take 6 or none of the above)...
