Help! Trying to find a score!

I'm looking for the score from John Williams' soundtrack to "The Terminal". I am really hoping to study from it and cannot find it anywhere! Any ideas as to how to get the actual orchestral score? Thanks in advance for the advice!

    Regards,

    Tim

    Tim,

Hopefully this will be released soon. I do some work for Hal Leonard Publishing and last summer I did a little work on "Viktor's Theme". This is the main theme with the clarinet solo. JW's scores are always educational to study.

Where are some good (or the best) places to purchase orchestral scores for study?

    Thanks.

Your local music store would probably be a good place to start. Or try Sheet Music Plus at www.sheetmusicplus.com

One of my favorite places for sheet music is Patelson's Music, 160 W 56th (across from Carnegie Hall) New York, NY (212) 582-5840. If it's available, they are likely to have it or know where you can get it.

My late wife, also Japanese, had a hard time determining if one "plays' or "prays" in church.

Now for the post reason -- the U of Indiana has a large number of public domain scores available on this site:

I usually do a search on Amazon.com. Many times they have links to new & used items which are cheaper than directly from Amazon. I've found some great bargains that way.

Thanks, OldJarHead, for the reference to the online scores! I've been wanting to see the scores for Debussy's Nocturnes for awhile now - and, lo and behold, there they are!
