Talking comtemporary - strings for my band

    Hi there,

I play guitar and keyboard in a band - we're doing a cd and i'm writing a cello and violin part to be recorded by real players soon. Live, i play the solo cello 3 off my laptop - but i'm pretty excited about getting real strings down. There's some real timpani in there too -our bassists dad is a band director

We'll be in denver next wednesday if anyone wants to stop by. Hermans hideaway!

    Tongue and Cheek

Let me know what you think - I'm concerned about the middle part "tear the addictions and mo000oo-ve". I think it sounds ok, but maybe i'm tricking myself.

What's wrong with the middle except the vocals need more presence? But hey! Wish I could stop in to see the show. This is quite new and interesting and best of all ... there's talent in there!!!!!
Live stings will be cool. Nice work and my compliments to your band members. You bring this band to Buffalo and downtown would be rockin!
I like it. Where's the CD?

Cd is in the works - it will be available on-line in about a month.

well, i guess that's whats wrong! i'm looking foward to 'conducting' the strings - that will be a first.

thanks alot - the singer and i have been working together for about 4 years now - he's great...really good ear for melodies and progressions...although we sometimes disagree on string arrangement. we just got a new drummer(i used to be the old one!) and things are coming together nicely....making great connections in our area. we're all excited about it.

i'm still getting the projector footage together and edited
hopefully that will happen in denver.

    thanks for the comments
    sam
