    Sonar can't find Kontakt...

    All,

I transferred all of my Kontakt data from my C: drive to my D: drive and now Sonar 3 can't find the main Kontakt program or the synthrack. Am I going to have to reinstall Kontakt so that Sonar can be pointed to the correct drive or is there another way of doing it?

I am using the full 1.5.3 version of Kontakt.

    Thanks and regards,

You need to run the Cakewalk VST Adapter and have it scan the new folder you moved the VST plugin to. Then it will show it. Make sure you close Sonar when you run the VST Adapter. You need to run this app any time you move or add VST's.

I did run the VST Adapter but the folks at Native Instruments said that I would have to uninstall and reinstall Kontakt. I did this but I can't get any sound out of Kontakt now for some reason.

    Thanks for responding.
