I recorded a click at 60 tempo , then recorded it again increasing the tempo by 1 up to 120 . The result is kinda strange. The end part is the best , all tempos collide to a single hit . So it's actually 60 tempo's playing at once. Interesting result....well kinda
Theo- try this with a different percussive instrument nstead of a click - or different pitches on a marima, for example. Could be very cool. May need to do it as 20 to 40, or 30 to 60 to appreciate. Very fun idea, clever concept; just hard to hear the differentiation without different pitches or timbres.
I did one a long tome ago with a 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 5.4 etc. to 16, put it on a grid, worked out a melody and all that. I used graph paper, you can see where the intersections will happen and set up the appropriate notes to get simple chords at these points.
------- It's all about the music - really. I keep telling myself that...
