Celeron 500, PII450 or PIII 500, you make the call
Hey guys, is there anyone out there that can
put to rest once and for all the PII, PIII, Celeron debate. I have read several articles in which people claim to be running nearly 40 to 50 tracks of audio with the Celeron processor. If this is true, would it not make sense to go with the Celeron 500 as opposed to the PII450 or even the PIII500 for music workstation applications. That extra $125 sure would feel good in my pocket but I would rather go ahead and spend the cash if my overall system performance were to suffer due to my money hoarding.
