    Hide and seek-hard drive O.C.D

    Anyone else have this problem....

The closer i get to the completion of an album, the more neurotic i become about ensuring that my hard drive is hidden somewhere in the dark obscurities of my home. So if in the event (God forbid) someone breaks into my house and cleans out ALL the studio gear, i will still have something to show for my 400 hours worth of work on a particular job.

Are there others that can't even go down the street for milk without hiding their precious backup drive? Or should i get some help...

Um, yeah, get some help hehe.

Actually, I am pretty stupid about that stuff. If someone did break into my house...I would lose everything...hmmm...

DVD+RW and Safety Deposit box (in case of a fire at the house/studio).

You might have a friend break into your house on a daily basis and steal your valuables and then return them to you. The likelihood that your house would be robbed twice on the same day is infinitesimal.

I`m worried too. But worried about an earthquake...
A professor teaching at a university, was saying on TV
that there will be an earthquake in the near future.M7 to M8 maybe.
You can`t hide from an earthquake
Well in that case I`ll bring my hardware gear and
samples with me to heaven (or maybe hell).
Because it would be a nightmare to see all you gear
smashed and squashed with the building your living in.
It would be a nightmare.....So IF the earthquake takes my
gear , I hope it takes me with it too.
