Topic: audio data disk filling rules ?

Question audio data disk filling rules ?

    Hello everybody ...
Is it useful to keep some free space on a hard disk, only dedicated to .gig files, assuming that it will never need a "defrag" (clean install, no split files).
For instance, i wonder if chkdsk would need some free space on the checked volume.

Any utility that needed space would most likely use the C: drive.

If the drive is dedicated and "set" then you could go ahead and fill it up - with the reminder that we are all sound junkies so there's always one more library to add .

If you plan on doing any editing you would need some space for that.
