    Moving from res/Mac to PC

    Hi everyone -

Just curious if anyone has ever exported a mac sound, stored/viewable through Res-Edit, to a PC? If so, how/what tools did you use?

I have a client who will eventually have this audio file moved to a cell game, but they want the original sound from the mac, vs. recreating it.

    Thanks,

    Eric

    Eric -

Can you be more specific about where the sound is originating? AIFF files (the default Mac audio file format) are easily read on PC with nothing special...

So what "Mac sound" are you referring to?

    Hey there -

Actually, scratch this. The developer figured it out. They had an old Mac sound, that they could 'see' with the resource editor, that they wanted to get to a pc. They were able to do it before I got the post up.

But thanks for offering the help!
