Continuing -------- what are your "TOP 10" softsynths?

My other thread got me thinking. I'm just trying to do a little updating to my rig..... So I'm wondering what your Top 10 softsynths are, whether they be commercial or freebie's.......

You all will help me greatly by answering, and everyone who answers gets a crisp $1 bill.....

    Thanks guys!

btw-- undoubtedly this has already been done, but new stuff may have come out last week

just off the top of my head:

    Z3ta+
    Reaktor 4 (soon 5 probably)
Absynth 3 (without having tried it)
    Imposcar
Synth 1 (free and very low cpu hit)

That's pretty much all I'm interested in/ have, apart from Romplers. You are probably already familiar with all those (Romplers) as they get mentioned all the time around here.

    Atmosphere is a must
Vapor is a cool synth with a great price!(open up sh**t in Kontakt)
then you have Absynth 3 (still thinking of buying it sometime)
But I have been looking at Reaktor 5 and Electronic Instruments2 now.
I wouldnt call Kontakt 2 a synth but it certainly looks like you can tear i up in there.
Sampletank2 is an amazing in a lot of ways
yea Sonic Synth 2 but na I am not into it(never bought it)
Tassman 4.0 analog goodness, built in drum machine, etc...)
I really like H.G. Fortunes Synths, there cheap and they sound fantastic!(Strange Dark and thick sounds)
Korgs MS20 is deffinitly a mention
    and Virus Cube
To be honest with you there are just to many to name.
I would say getting Atmosphere is a must though, after that you could think about Absynth 3, Getting something like Reaktor 5 with Electronic Instruments2 and you wouldn't need anything else.
But hey can you really have enough Synths?
get on KVR forum and read up on reviews for Synths if you want more info on them.
    All I can Say is...HA!...HA!...HAAAAAAA!!!!!

    Reaktor 4 - obvious

    Absynth 3 - likewise

    Cameleon 5000

Cosmogirl - Some great ambient sounds, and it's free

Borderliner - dead simple distortion synth, but fun and it's free

    Crystal

SunRa - truly wierd, and free

DelayLama - you've just got to see it

DMI Flute - a decent stab at physical modelling, but the results are actually more useful for not quite being accurate

Poison - I've sold my Scope card, but this was a truly awesome synth when I had it.

WusikStation Great Pads, general synth sounds
    String Theory (free)

    that's all I need !

Yes, this is done constantly at KVR, but often interesting reading, not only what folk are using, but how they are using the various sound sources.

This caught my eye, so I checked it out - mp3's, downloaded the demo. I'm about to order it. Very nice synth. Yes, "New Agey" but also Spacey!

    Thanks,
