Slightly OT - good tool for bulk sample trimming

I've got Awave 8.7 (upgrade to 9 is EXPENSIVE!). It handles the bulk part but the lowest trimming threshold setting is 1%, not nearly low enough for slow decays.

Can someone suggest a tool for doing bulk trimming?

    Thanks

Hate to tell you this, but I would NEVER EVER trust an automated trimmer for editing samples.
    I've tried, and I've tried a lot!
There's only one way to do this if you really want a good result, that's to do it by hand.
It's tedious, I know, take Black Grand, I've hand edited over 7000 samples for that one!
I guess automated gadgets could be great for some applications, but for editing startpoint in samples.... nope!

I'm new to the whole area of instrument creation so I'm doing some experimenting. Some imperfection is ok because I need to characterize the procedures.
