You could get a Mini for $500, and justify the expense as a way of testing your products on a Mac for quality control.

For those of us who don't (or are unable to use) GarageBand, is it a proprietary format - or can I DL the package and just load the wavs?

I'd like to have some fun with this in SAW Studio...

Of course if you have Logic 7 you can convert it into a logic song.

    I did.

    Logic opens garageband Songs

The NIN song comes in an OSX "package" which is a monolithic file format which I am not 100% sure that Windows users can access. The audio files are in Aiff format which I suppose can be converted to Waves.

Once you are done converting the Aiff's, you'll be left with lots of pieces parts which you'll need to manually re-arrange by hand.

Sounds like a big hassle to me!

Sounds like remixing to me - the idea behind the project, no? I'm assuming its The Hand That Feeds? - it would be fun to take a shot at recomposing for it - throw in some dirtorted SID and KH Concert Strings and over compressed MAG and call it a day.
