Trojans have a way of attaching themselves to random files.
So do you think it's there in every demo that was downloaded...or it just happened to attach itself in this instance?
Briefly -- what is a trojan and what does it do? What does it do to a system?
I found a Trojan on my front lawn once after a neighbor's big party.
Hopefully you dropped by.............Originally Posted by scottnorma

Trojan is nasty type of virus that attacks the heck out of your system. It comes in as one thing then you open it up and bam any type of virus can be in it.
It's so messy that you'll either have to wipe your drive or if your antivirus is good enough it will catch most of it but usually not all. Then you can go in and manually delete the offending .dll and .exe files.
Hey Kid, some Trojans are harmless enough, they might just pop up an annoying ad when you're online. Others can do things like capture keystrokes (particularly when doing internet banking) and before you know it, your account is cleaned out.Originally Posted by kid-surf
Interestingly enough, doing a Google search on; TR/spy.kstaff yields only German results. It appears to be some sort spyware. What it does though is anyones guess.

I thought trojans where specifically very harmful viruses and not just your run of the mill spyware adware stuff. I've had trojans and both times the amount of spyware, adware, and other viruses where so much that it completely bogged my system. My antivirus software said only one thing,"Trojan Horse".
