    A couple of RMX questions

I have a couple of minor things which I'd like to share with you, maybe
RMX users/developers have already instant solution for these:

    1. Adding new sounds to the created User Favorite group. After one has created a User Favorite group and renamed it, it often happens that
one wants later add new sounds to this group. How to do this?
Without this possibility one can't organize reasonably own sound groups
(you have always create new one).

    2. Zone edit. The RMX has many wonderful features and editing possibilities.
In spite of this, I've found that although you can focus the parameter change
to pretty small parts of the loop in the group edit, sometimes you wanted to
touch only for one or two notes, e.g. change the pitch of the note to flawor the loop.
In the Stylus Classics that was easy to do "in fly" with the Zone edit.
Hadn't it be easy to include this function also to the RMX?

There is a way to do this already by renaming on the desktop. We'll try to include this in a tutorial and the new manual.

    You can do this already.

Play the slice from MIDI and then Create Edit Group and you've got it.

There will be a new tutorial about this too.

Spectrum: Thank you for the reply.

Didn't got how to do these things but maybe the new tutorials will help.
If you'll publish a new video tutorial CD, please include a new clip of
the midi learn function, in my CD this clip didn't work properly (almost no
    sound at all).

These videos are great but the old-fashioned written manual (help-function)
could give a good basic support in problem situations.

Re: A couple of RMX questions

    Great questions:

Another question I've been meaning to ask:

When importing user files, the SAGE importer will place a series of loops (in groove mode) on C(x) and ascend. Is there a way to determine a base note location that the REX files begin from? For example, perhaps you've created a series of musical loops that are tone specific, and you want to have the ascending series of loops start on a specific key to match the specific tone.

Is there a way to signify which key value the REX files begin on? I hope the question isn't too confusing!

I can honestly say that RMX has created inspiration in my vision for just how implementation can transform and escalate the emerging raw technologies being employed. Making music is so much more FUN than just making music at this point.

Re: A couple of RMX questions

We enforce a consistent keyboard layout for the groove menus, so they all appear at the same place on the keyboard. Otherwise, it would be confusing when browsing suites if you had to contend with different suites putting their groove menus at different places on the keyboard.

    Sure.

How about when you play it from the web?

The sound of the camera mic was really bad on that one, so it's very dark. Try playing it through your mains, instead of your built-in speakers.

Yep....you'll love the new reference manual we are integrating with the plug-in...it will be out next month.

    All the best,
