Or further question?
I would have thought the answer to this question is of interest to many of us. I know I would like to understand this? Could you not have posted your answer on the forum instead of turning this into a private communication?

I agree. This would be very helpful. All the examples are rock oriented (fantastic), BUT with something like 60GB of data it would be tragic if this library didn't lend itself to simple songwriting guitar beds that are not just rock oriented. How about some various R8B / pop / pop-rock style chord sequences that might be used on a songwriting demo to make a backing track (without other instruments - just the guitar chords/strums).
I am interested in this library because of the amazing authentic sound but I need to get more confidence on the libraries' versatility as above. At 60GB I'm led to believe the samples could probably provide any style but I'm not hearing that in the demos.
I'm also concerned about just how much work it takes to produce these sounds. What is the balance beteen real time playing/improvisation versus programing and engineering. A bit of both is taken for granted but if the bias was heavily leaning towards midi programming with less real-time playing, as a composer/musician/producer, I may pass on the library.
I need tools that are not only impressive (sound wise), but are relatively 'friendly' that don't take days of engineering to get results.
Any comments? Does anyone know?
Final Q. Why is some of the library on dual layer DVD and the rest on single layer? That seems odd tho' I expect there's a simple explanation my overloaded brain just can't fathom at the moment.
