    Talking A LASER DISC PLAYER?

I was just given a Laser Disc Player by the librarian (no not Marian the Librarian) This thing is HUGE! I plugged it in and yes folks it works and even has an interface for a PC. I opened the tray and this thing is so big you could load 20 CD inside! Hey, I wonder if I can bake a 12" pizza pie in it?
    Anyone have a Laser disk?

Can I go home now? I need my GPO ...

I have about 200 LaserDiscs (in storage in California). I was a major "early-adopter" -- especially when they devised a way to get Dolby Digital 5.1 sound onto the platters. If you want I'll extract a list of titles from my database and send it to you. They could be had for the cost of shipping and a small surcharge.

I still have mine. I've got quite a few movies and still use it. I don't think DVD is overwhemingly better than DVD. Only because a slight smudge on a LD doesn't effect the viewing like a DVD.
