    Best soundtracks you never heard...

Army of Darkness - Joseph LoDuca/Danny Elfman (mostly LoDuca)
Conan the Destroyer - Basil Poledouris
Flesh & Blood - Basil Poledouris
    Hero - Tan Dun
House of Flying Daggers - Tan Dun

    So what's some others?

And now that I have your attention...

It is rather unfortunate that a lot of these composers are overlooked because their scores don't appear in A budget movies.

Go listen (please) to Joseph LoDuca's Army of Darkness score and tell me its not brilliant. I dare you. I'll give you such a ding alongside the earhole if you do.

This is very interesting - but surely we would have noticed a good soundtrack/score if it was good in the first place. I mean - if it wasn't any good, would we have noticed it?

    Please clarify.

If you've never seen the movie you wouldn't have noticed, right?

Then how would you hear the score? Sorry, not trying to be awkward here - just don't get it. Duh!
