    Scarlatti's Cat

A couple of days ago, someone suggested, probably in jest, that it was time to do a version of Scarlatti's Op. 30, (Cat Fugue) as atonal or serial. So I did this, but not atonal, not serial, just me.

The subject of the fugue is Scarlatti's, freely used and abused by me.

    The mp3 is GPO organ.

    Thumbs up Re: Scarlatti's Cat

It seems you had a lot of fun writing this free fugue. And a little of the fun you had is contagious...nice work.

Great selection of different timbres with the organ. It's always a lot of fun to take old themes like that and put a little spice in them!

    Bravo...

    Richard,

What fun and frisky! I blasted this for my cat who looked quite startled upon hearing it.

I like the just you version.

I only wish my cat was this musically gifted when she decides to jump onto my keyboard and walk all over the keys .

This was a lot of fun! Thank you for sharing this with us .
