    Re: vibrato question

    Hey, SaltPeter!
    Welcome to the nuthouse!

The solo strings' vibrato is not controlable, because the violin was recorded with vibrato. I beleive that GPOA (not sure, but I think so) will have vibrato control, but don't quote me on that!

    Question Re: vibrato question

are you sure the vibrato is in the samples? cause i loaded gpo up in cubasis and it was playing the generic piano noise in the background when i was hitting keys on the player, and the piano had vibrato. also when you trigger two notes a little bit apart they dont beat against each other, the vibrato's are synced up.

This is probably because your mod wheel is up. GM's mod wheel controls vibrato, whereas GPO's mod wheel controls volume/timbre.

Is that what you're talking about?

Just for clarity's sake: Yes, vibrato in the solo strings is recorded.
