Just saw Crash today. Very nice piece of filmmaking, and a great commentary on race relations in the U.S. There are some amazing moments, and some things that you see coming a mile away that still manage to grab you...and a couple of situations that are very surprising in the way they play out.
The score is as perfect a fit to the film as I have heard in a long time. Mark Isham always impresses me, but this is exceptional work. I'd encourage people to check this one out...a great example of how understatement can have tremendous power.
