    Wish You Were Here

    Hi folks,

Some more songs from our musical. They are without the vocal talent at the moment, just finished GPO-ing them. Greeme's Warning has temporary vocals thrown in as a test.

    Opening
"Opening" is the new, more powerful opening to the show, as the curtain rises (it's very short since it leads into the first song - which I haven't GPO-ed yet)

    Wish You Were Here
"Wish You Were Here" is sung by the 2nd Lead female - a mother caught in the middle of a war, thinking of her daughter back home.

    Greeme's Warning
"Greeme's Warning" is sung by the evil imposter Greeme, after he has been captured by the Undead army. (don't ask! lol)

    As He Sleeps
"As He Sleeps" is sung by the lead female as she watches her mentor pass away, after sacrificing his life for her.

Anyway, hope ya like em. Feedback would be appreciated, as always.
Thanks again to Neotypic for the webspace.

    Best regards,
    Kin

    Powerful opening... love the brass.

Wish You Were Here... lovely, melodic, moving work; well developed.

Greeme's Warning... energetic, uplifting and suspensive at the same time.

As He Sleeps... deeply moving elegiac writing -- very, very beautiful.

(This is a musical? With a little tinkering and development, I think the instrumental portions alone would hold together very, very well as a suite!)

This is superb work, Kin. I know you will have every success with it.

Thanks very much for your comments David. As instrumental pieces, they are very simple - and lack the melody of the vocal lines - since they are accompaniment only. But at least by using GPO we can get a more realistic idea of how a live orchestra should sound which we can use as rehearsal material. This also helps the musical director and the performers on stage.

Thanks for listening and giving feedback

    Regards,
