    "Tango de Amor"

    Latin Music Lovers,

This is my "Tango de Amor" that I wrote in the 'old, original' tango style, which includes the slightly out-of-tune 'tango accordian'; however, my use of electric bass in this work does not conform to the original tango style, of course.

    Regards,

    Larry A.

Bravo! Right into the keepers file. An excellent Tango! Gardel himself would have loved it.

Many thanks for the kind words, Val.

As you well know, Gardel was the Father of the tango and he had a very short life. I think that he was only around forty-five when he died in a plane crash.

    Best regards,

He wrote some amazing Tangos. I was just thinking earlier, I think I'll do an orchestration of Por Una Cabeza. If only I could get a hold of a Bandoneon sample. BTW, Daniel Barenboim did one of the most exquisite versions of that Tango I've ever heard.

    Hi Larry,
your style recreation is always good. The sound make me remember of some old Italian "balera" (old fashion dancing where country men love to meet in summer night), where tangos are frequently played. Nice to know that this tango came from...Texas!

    Ciao

Thumbs up Re: "Tango de Amor"

    Very nice job, Larry.
It seems to me to be at "AVIS party" (AVIS is an association of blood donors) where I often listen this kind of music.
I like it very much, because it is a kind of "summer mark", and of course I like summer time!!!
Your music have, at least for me, a summer taste, thus means that I like it very much.
    Best regards,
    Roberto
