    And now, some Bach.

This weekends project has been Bach's Fifth Brandenburg Concerto, first movement. The Brandenburg Concertos were a sort of resume since they were dedicated to Markgrave Christian Ludwig of Brandenburg in hopes of obtaining a position in there.

    Re: And now, some Bach.

I'm doing something unorthodox and posting this again. The reason is, I learned something that may be helpful to others. In the first version, everything seems fine until the harpsichord solo ( lead in at about 6:20). Overture is running slow and at the solo the result is the harpsichord player sounds as though they can't keep time. The problem was corrected by reducing buffer size from 512 to 256. A word of caution though, lowering the buffer can introduce other problems. In this case I re-recorded the solo and grafted it into the original recording. I hope this may be of use to others.

Bravissimo. Wow! Thanks. I'm flattered. I have always loved this piece. Do you see an improvement in the harpsichord solo?
