Can someone clue this yank in on what the Brits do to celebrate their birthday? Is it high tea and crumpets?
Happy birthday, John and many, many more!!
LOL Gary!! High tea & crumpets indeed!!! No- it's ditchwater and stale bread for a special treat! Haha!
Well tonight I'll be celebrating (or should I say crying at my age) with a trip to a local restaurant with family and friends. Trouble is that I've got to drive so I'll be on water - but I'll make up for it tomorrow when I'm not driving - we'll be cracking open a bottle of champagne (or 2) (supplied by my brilliant French father-in -law who provides us with a crate every year for these special occasions!)
So CHEERS - Good health to you and all things Garritan and thanks for your good wishes.
PS btw as you describe yourself as a yank - it reminds me of the film Yanks (Richard Gere) set in England during the war - well if you remember it, the fight scene in the dance hall was filmed in my Town Hall here in Hyde....
you see..umm..uhh..... a sign of ageing - Ive started to ramble...... now where's that champagne???
Beh, allora, because of your fluent Italian, I miei migliori auguri di un felicissimo compleanno, a presto,
All the best
Fabio, mille ringraziamenti per i vostri buoni desideri - anche se so che non siete imbrogliati dal mio italiano "perfetto"!!
I will toast you with my champagne tomorrow!
Siete un signore allineare! i miei auguri a voi,
