    OT: Ann Arbor, MI

Any fellow composers live in Ann Arbor or surrounding municipalities? I've just moved here and am curious to see if other musicians/composers are around.

The U of M School of Music might be a good place to connect with others - plenty of talented grad students in Composition as well as Performing Arts Technology.

(Or did you move to AA as a student, and this is obvious...)

I just have to say; I did my Masters at Michigan, you are going to LOVE Ann Arbor! U of M School of Music is one of the top music schools in the country. There should be plenty of great composers to hang out with!

If you talk to Evan Chambers, tell him I said hi.

Hey J.P. - Welcome to Michigan! You're in a great town and will be surrounded by very talented musicians at U of M. I'm in Royal Oak which is about 45 minutes North East.

The producer of Lyrical Distortion is from MI. Aaron Dirk. I forget what town.
I dated a girl from MI once and traveled from NJ to see her - Ahh my crazy days LOL.

I'm in the Grand Rapids area, about 2 hour drive west of Ann Arbor.

However, I do look forward to the U of M football season this year
