How to save the whole stuff in GS3( including instruments)?

    hi,

I want to save the whole stuff of my song including the instruments.
In the manual they only say that you can save this gsp file but without instruments.
So, is there any possibility to save the whole stuff?

    Thankx for help

When you save a performance file (.gsp) it saves the current state of Gigastudio, including the instruments and what channels there in, effects settings, etc. That's what you want. You'll need to save the actual midi/project file from your sequencer though.

    hi,

are you sure? Because the size of my gsp file is only 226kb?
But the sounds are so huge!!
    Can you explain me that.
I thought that GS3 only saves the path where the sounds are?

Well... It saves the path to the sample. Why would you need to do anything else? That wouldn't make much sense. Its basically the same as saving a Cubase project with a VST loaded into the VST rack. You're not resaving the VST dll file, just uhm, the uhm... You know. I'd hate to have to save another instance of a Gigastudio file for each song I made. You'd end up with 50 computers or something.

I'm not sure I completely understand your needs from your post.

you're right...but insome cases it would be nice to save each song with the whole environment just in case your computer crashes and you have to install everything new....

    Thankx for help

I agree, it would be nice to be able to save a project. That would be especially helpful for moving between studios. Currently, they don't offer that as an option.
