OT: A good GM Bank to use with Sibielus 3

    Hey everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can get a better sounding GM bank to use with Sibielus 3. I could reall use a better bank. Before you ask, yes, Iknow I can use GPO with Sibielus. I just need a scratch bank. Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Jonny

If you can use soundfonts, check out SynergiGS. It's cheap, but darn good GM.

    Hi Johnny:

Just by accident, I had Finale 2004 and Sibelius 3 installed on the same computer. When it came to MIDI Devices, I selected the Finale Soundfounts that came with 2004 and used them in Sibelius 3. I didn't think they would work outside of Finale, but they were a choice in MIDI Devices, so I clicked on them. Great set of GM sounds for scratch work.

If you don't have Finale installed, this tip won't work very well.........
