EROICA 2nd Movement - By Thomas Penders

Not too long ago Thomas amazed us with his Cello Concerto. He has done it again!

This time he wrote a new symphony called "Eroica". It is published on his website at http://www.thomaspendersclassicalmusic.com/ Thomas wote it with the sibelius notation program.

This is just stunning work! Very intricate writing and orchestration. I really liked the transitioning between themes and the instrumentation and effects (esp. the glissandi).

So here is an mp3 from the Eroica 2nd movent.( playtime 6 minutes)

Thanks Thomas for sending this in.

    Hi Gary,

There seems to be a problem with the link.

There is a space before the ".mp3" in the URL that is causing the problem. I copied and pasted the address in my browser with no problems.

Very nice piece with an abundance of interesting material. Stylistically you seem to have have nicely melded Romantic and 20th idioms. Would love to hear the first movement but my Mozzila refuses to let me access it at your site. Perhaps you could post it here.
