Just finished my latest piece of music, called (The Last Falling Leaves) I finished the Piece about 2 weeks ago and I decided to write some lyrics and get a singer involved, so I rang a friend who I used to be in a band with Emma Johnstone, and asked her to sing for me.
I kind of wanted a Highlandie Celtic sort of vibe for this track.
Anyway hope u guys have a listen and any comments are very welcome.
I can't understand what the chick is saying. Please post a printout of the lyrics.
Thanks and regards,
Thanks alot Larry for listening and commenting. I think u cant understand what she is saying because alot of it are just made up words. When I had the melody I just made some words up that I thought sounded cool with the melody. the only part that has proper english is the chorus: Whispers fade from my reach
Like the last falling Leaves
This I know forever
We will be together
Thanks to wst3ae for ur very kind comment
and thanks Jsp2 for listening, to answer ur question I used the garritan ambience reverb unit.
Thanks again for taking the time to listen and ur encouragement
This is a great end credits music for a movie! Absolutely!!
The voice is really fantastic, but also your music is extremely good!!
This is a great production in all terms, starting from composition side to the recording ones!
There is no more to say if not, CONGTULATIONS MAN!!!
A lot of congratulations Emma!!!
Also a very nice cover for your album!!
May I make a very humble comment, well first, it's very cool!
I would have used her voice as the melody and you as the harmony when you both sing.
I didn't like the bagpipe sound at the beginning, in fact it almost caused me to hit "stop" I am guessing it is bagpipes or some other type of sound. This song is worthy of something like a native flute sound instead of the bagpipe sound. I truly hope these comments are not offensive to an otherwise great song,
Thanks alot for ur comments Fabio and thanks for listening
Beach as always thank u very much for ur support I'm really glad u like the piece and thanks for commenting.

DPAN thanks for listening and commenting, I dont take offense at all my friend infact I love to hear peoples point of view. All I can say is I suppose everyone has there own opinion on what sounds they like and dont like, if everyone had the same taste in music it would be a bit dull.
The actual instruments I used was the Uilleann pipes, they do sound like bagpipes but I think they have a nicer tone, I felt it gave more of a Celtic Vibe, it may have been a bad choice but I really like the instrument.
