Thumbs up Re: Scarbee Autumn Sale

SCARBEE's libraries are best-in-class. If you haven't picked up their libs - now's the time.

hmm. Just t´ried it in Kontakt 2 - and it doesn't seem to work.

That is funny for all the "hype" about Kontakt versus Halion...

NI seems not to have made their engine backwards compatible.

Dang, glad I read this before I ordered.. I also only have K2, just did the upgrade from the Kompakt player.

I'm really suprised that K2 can't use a previous version Kontakt library. Any chance you'll release a K2 update?

Not before christmas as we are very busy finishing SID XL for release.
I have no idea what problem is and are not too crazy about spending weeks re-programming something that NI should fix. It's their problem that it's not compatible with earlier versions - which is not very cool.

Thomas, I agree with you 100% that its NI's responsibility to fix the problem, not yours.. but, it does stop me from placing my order because I wouldn't be able to use the library. It never even occurred to me that K2 wouldn't import any Kontakt format library. What a load of crap. I don't care if K2 has a whole new engine, they need to make it backwards compatible with older libraries.

Too bad you didn't make a Giga version of J Slap n Fingered, I prefer to work with GS3 anyway, and I've never heard of any problems using older Giga libraries in GS3.
