    "The Retribution Rag"

    y'all,

This is my "The Retribution Rag".

I used two instances of the GPO honky-tonk piano and further detuned both and processed them with two different equalizers (Brit. - equalisers). I also used the GPO tuba.

    Regards,

    LGA

Maingnna! You really can put them out, can't ya? Well, CAN"TCHA!
Excellent as usual Mr Larry! I especially love the stereo separation effect between the harponmesochords.
Another nice pick me up for the morning.

    This was great!!

Perhaps one of your best pieces ( ..I think I'm saying that allot of your work)

Larry you have a fantastic sense of chord progression.. The way you transition between major and minor is wonderful!

    Mr. Jeff,

I am pleased that you would say nice things about some of my corny old music in the style of the 1920s. Ragtime is a lot of fun for me to write. It's old-style and ricky-ticky and you can't do rap lyrics to it, but what the heck.

    Thanks for listening.

you really did detune and EQ that Steinway!

But it works really well for this piece. It literally sounds like four really out of tune pianos!

    I love your rags!
    GREAT work!!!

    Chris...I am your Father.

Now let's have a fight with our lightsabers, or whatever they called them in the "Starwars" movies.

Thanks for listening. It's very unusual for a youngster your age to like ragtime music. It's a puzzlement.

Really? I LOVE ragtime, dixieland, bluegrass, baroque, classical, romantic, some combonation, huh? I notice as I learn more about music I start appreciating more and more complex music. I haven't been able to get up to the land of jazz yet. It's REALLY complex!

Larry, a piece by you is always a treat but I especially like your rags. Did you hang out with Scott Joplin? Great work.
Never look at the trombones. It only encourages them. Richard Strauss
