You know what this means... A special keyswitch in JABB for "shoddy playing."
From Electronic Magician Magazine, Oct. 2005:
JABB HELD UP ANOTHER MONTH BECAUSE OF A REVOLUTIONARY NEW "SHODDY-PLAYING" TECHNIQUE
Garritan Orchestral Libraries announced today that the scheduled November 1st release of the long awaited Jazz And Big Band library would be postponed yet another month… It is said that Gary Garritan just can't hold back on adding unique programming and instruments to his libraries. "We believe that this new key-switching technique will be the envy of all other developers." Unnamed sources told us that Tom Hopkins, chief programmer for Garritan, has not had any sleep for 127 hours as he strives to finish the programming before the deadline.
Will shoddy playing finally be what it takes to breathe life and reality into samples? Will Mr. Hopkins survive this incredible ordeal that has been thrust upon him? We’ll let you know in next month's column.
