"Minor Joy" (A re-write for piano and orch.)

    Fellow MusicMakers,

I have re-written my "Minor Joy" for piano and orchestra. This work is a combination of GPO samples and Kurzweil patches. It is my sincere hope that it pleases you.

    Best regards,

    LGA

Superb job Larry. Lots of minor key energy, something you excell at. Love the main theme. Very captivating. The coda caught me off guard though. Guess its not over til its over. (Kind of a Beethoven touch)

Never look at the trombones. It only encourages them. Richard Strauss

I had originally written this for two guitars and orchestra. Rewriting something like this for piano is really like composing a new piece from scratch.

Thanks for your nice comments, Bill. They gladden an old heart.

    My best to you,

Full of Baroque dash and energy and spirit--very bracing! I feel like Bach is Back! (And not only in spirit, but in prolific output--you're the man!)

Thumbs up Re: "Minor Joy" (A re-write for piano and orch.)

    Great Larry,
a lot of energy in this piece, minor energy!
This re-orchestration is extremely good. I feel some beethoven inside!
and somewhere o little bit of baroque too.

    Nice the end!!

    Best from your italian friend,
    Roberto
