I'm rebuilding my PC (XP SP2, Cubase, Giga and VSTs) I have these 3 drives:

- SATA 60G for Windows
- SCSI 18G for audio
- SATA 300G for VST sound libraries

I have 2 questions:

1.) For the 300G drive, is there any reason to *not* format the full 300G in one big partition? I know in the old days you couldn't and now you can, but is there any practical reason not to?

2.) What sector size should I use when I format them? I've read that you should use larger sector sizes if you're going to be dealing with large files, but anyone know what a recommended size is for audio?
