Converting a Giga studio file to wav

    Hi,
I have a Giga studio file. I want to convert it to .wav format so I can use it in ableton live or chop it up in recycle. import it into stylus etc. I tried getting it to read in CDextract but it won't rcognize the file. I am doing this on my Mac OSX. when the cd is in the drive it shows up as 1 file - name.gig and 2 other file that say .rar
    please help
    thanks

It would help to know exactly which library you are attempting to convert. RAR files are compressed, but it would be unusual to see GIG and RAR files occupying the same disc, since a library delivered in RAR format would not normally also have a GIG file.

Is this an original manufacturer disc? Most of the manufacturers hang out here, or we have contact information for them...I am sure someone can put you in touch with the manufacturer if you will provide your contact information so you can be reached. Everyone here is very helpful.
