Thanks everyone for your encouragement as we led up to the world premiere last night of Running Deep, which included my very first soundtrack for a feature-length film.
It was windy and very rainy last night, but several hundred people still managed to show up at the Avalon in DC. It was great to finally see the film on the big screen, and a relief that the sound system was nice enough to allow everything to come through crystal clear.
Audience response was overwhelmingly positive, and there was long and thunderous applause as the closing credits rolled!
Several people I talked to were absolutely convinced that a real orchestra was used. They were blown away to learn that every note originated in my home studio. What a testament to GPO!
