Whew! I love them JABBin' sounds! Great work!

My only comment would be to make it just a bit faster so I can dance to it And maybe a little more fortissimo on the brass?

Great! I love it! Very nice work!

When I was in 6th grade, the history teachers put on a recreation of a USO dance for us 6th graders. We took swing dance lessons after class weeks prior to the dance. A live band played at the dance (of course, that was way before I knew the first thing about music) but something like "In the Mood" is unforgettable . . . that false ending really tricks at least half the people on the dance floor Ah . . . the memories . . . swing dancin' was fun.

Cool Re: JABB: In The Mood

Oh gosh! A number of things cross my mind after listening to all the different versions of "In the Mood" that you made.

    1) Isn't today's midi sequencing wonderful?!?!?! With today's technology, add the right computer-based sound library, add computer-based effects, and computer-based mixing and one can transform a simple midi-sequence to a near approximation of a live band!

    2) Nice work! It's obvious that a LOT of time was spent by you to fine-tune this midi arrangement!

    3) A couple humble suggestions for mixing this piece: a) Maybe bring back the snare drum hit a bit? b) Bring foward the horns a bit more? 3) Also bring forward the string bass?? These are just humble suggestions that I respectfully present to you.

    4) I bet you had fun!! LOL! I can almost see you typing in the increased tempo speed and hitting the "Play Button" when you created the adjustement for Sean! Same thing for when you created the version for "88fingers". I can see you selecting the plug-in which creates that scratchy record sound. Question: Is is the effects plug-in by Isotope?? I think they created a similar plug-in which mimics periods of recordings. And this brings me back to this. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

    5) Isn't today's modern midi-sequencing and recording just grand?!?!?

    Very cool!

Thumbs up Re: JABB: In The Mood

Nice job Sam! Only one suggestion, the snare accents are off but I have to admit this is hard for me to hear what the drums are doing on the speakers I have at work. However, after playing this number practically all my life, it does sound off.
Nice ending in dynamics! Did you take from a score?
