I've created a controller template for the Korg MicroKontrol to use with JABB. Any MicroKontrol/JABB users out there are welcome to download it from my iDisk:

JABB.mkd

I'm open to comments and improvements. The fixed set of text labels available in the Korg MicroKontrol Editor software prevents naming every parameter clearly, and the scene name appears as "Kontakt" on the hardware due to the inability to customize scene labels (although it appears as JABB in the editor software).

Here is the layout:

Faders:
1 - CC#1 (Mod Wheel - labeled "level")
2 - CC#20 (Portamento)
3 - CC#21 (Length - labeled "decay")
4 - CC#22 (VAR 1 - labeled "SynPrm 1")
5 - CC#23 (VAR 2 - labeled "SynPrm 2")
6 - CC#15 (Release EFX - labeled "Release")
7 - No Assignment
8 - CC#7 MIDI Volume*

Encoders:
1 - CC#12 (Breath Noise - labeled "NoiseLvl")
2 - CC#13 (Key Click/Valve Noise - labeled "NoisePrm")
3 - CC#17 (Vibrato Speed - labeled "LFO1Rate")
4 - CC#18 (Growl Effect - labeled "Distortion")
5 - CC#26 (Mid EQ Gain)
6 - CC#27 (Mid EQ Frequency)
7 - CC#28 (Brightness)
8 - CC#10 MIDI Pan*

Pads:
1-5 - keyswitches for trombone KS
6-9 - keyswitches for trumpet KS patches
16 - CC#64 sustain pedal/ legato (of course you can use the pedal, too)

Joystick
X -/+ Pitch Bend
Y + Aftertouch (Vibrato)

*fader and encoder #8 control instrument master level and pan respectivelly, provided that you have Kontakt Player configured to respond to CC#7/10.

enjoy,
Brian
