    A Christmas Sing-Along Song

Well, this is my first song post and I don't imagine GPO has ever sounded quite like this before. The music was playing in a dream with the title just repeating over and over in my head(spirits of Christmas past?) so I have exorcized it from my being and posted it here. It's a Christmas sing-along(what ever the heck that is) and probably goes best with a few hot buttered rums. So join in and have a merry Christmas!

Let's Have An Old Fashioned Christmas

Let's have an old fashioned Christmas
    like folks did in 1905
Let's have an old fashioned Christmas
join voices with singing and rhyme
Let's have an old fashioned Christmas
    the kitchen's a heavenly place
Let's have an old fashioned Christmas
a feast filled with laughter awaits

Let's have an old fashioned Christmas
wrap presents and trim the yule tree
Let's have an old fashioned Christmas
we'll wish for a world that could be
Let's have an old fashioned Christmas
we'll play games, be merry and gay
Let's have an old fashioned Christmas
    an old fashioned Christmas today

You were there!? You heard my grandfathers bath tub gin band! Nice spirit of the "turn of the century" times. Oops, "turn of the second century" ago. This is all confusing, I have lived in two centuries and played music from 5 centuries (at least!).

I loved the rendition. Great Job!!!!!!
