I'm glad I have 'till Christmas - this is a tough one. Some very good entries for a difficult theme. I've only had time to listen to the first 6 and am looking forward to hearing the rest.

This is definitely a first! A 7-way tie for last place...

a seven way tie for third place sounds better to me!

So many great pieces! This was indeed a complex and challenging theme, and every entry did a great job. I loved the jazz themed version, and some of the really clever devices in several of the orchestral choices. But in the end, I went with the one I felt had the greatest emotional content, thematic and orchestral development and clarity. Number (uh-uh-uhhhh...)
