Found this site looking for info on GS3 and am very happy that it also a section to talk about video game composing.
I have a co-worker that part of a team (his brother and a few others) that have just gotten together with a developer to start working on a sim game. They are working on a Lemonade Tycoon type thing and have asked if I was interested in composing for the project. I have experience with music www.machinesound.com but this is going to be a completely new situation.
They want to know what I expect but quite honestly....I have no idea what to ask for.
How can I come out of the discussion looking like I have a clue?
Does the composer of music usually do all the Foley work as well? I would imagine yes but.....
