    Happy Birthday Ludwig

Ludwig Van Beethoven was baptized on the 17th of December 1770 and probably born on the 16th.

And he had a brother of the same name. The brother died as an infant, and in those days it was apparently not uncommon the recycle names.

Thumbs up Re: Happy Birthday Ludwig

Thanks Ludwig for everything you did,
even against common sense and habits, giving to your century music a momentum, a spin of accelleration, after Mozart's equilibre.

I'm sorry I'm so late in my reply.
    Thank you guys so much!
I'm so honored that you took the time to recognize my B-Day. I have been very busy composing for and conducting the hevenly choirs but they just don't pay any attention at rehersal and they just don't sing loud enough. I can't even hear them!
Well, all choir issues aside, thank you all so much for this wonderful surprise!!

You were good, kid. Real good. But as long as I'm around you'll always be second best.

    Hey!
Don't you be dissin' my favorite composer!
Is it just me, or does all your music sound the SAME???
    At least LVB had VARIETY!!
Beethoven's music has passion, feeling, emotion. Yours? Well, some of your work does but most of it is just perfection--textbook perfection. Quite boring if you ask me.

    Geez, CP.
    Lighten up!
    Mozart wrote some great stuff.
Plus, you're in no place to be dissin' one of the world's greatest musicians!

    But I am...

    [deep breath]
Mozart you perfect little mama's boy always mooching off of whoever you can. You're music is nothing but sheer perfection. Textbook perfection. Was there any emotion in your work? I think not! Did you ever even think about orchestral textures? NOPE!! Your music is all the same--MOZART!! You could interchange the second movement of your symphony no. 15 with the second movemet of your symphony no. 29 and nobody would know the difference. What kind of musician ARE you?
