    Apple Scores In Detroit

Apple may have been absent at CES but The Chrysler Group announced today that it will be the first american auto maker to offer iPod integration on many of it's Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep models.

    American automaker. That's funny.

Chrysler is German owned and makes cars in North America. BMW is also German owned and makes some of its cars in North America. And BMW offered iPod integration a good year ago.

One-up-manship marketing is a strange beast.

Wow... be really cool if I could plug my old '96 Dakota into an iPod.

Or did they mean this the other way 'round?

    Oh goody.

Yet another thing (like that annoying steering-brakes 'watch for traffic/pedestrians' stuff) to take peoples attention off their cell phone.

    Priorities!

How do you expect a body to conduct a decent conversation while twiddling their iPod? (and heaven knows what else)

(please, no explanations, I *get* it.)

That's what the iPod video is for - so you can see the road while you are adjusting your playlist
