    Galactic Organ

This is an adaptation of one of my orchestral works, "Galactica". I think it works quite well as an organ work, and so here it is, considerably modified in it's new setting, with a new name, "Galactic Organ". This is only mildly wild. There exists, in the hiden corners of my mind, a version requiring a pipe organ with two consoles, or two organs. If I ever write it out, it will wake you up faster than this version. As usual, the mp3 is GPO Organ, much better than the Scorch sound.

    For now:

The link will lead to three choices.

At the top, you will see a blue button to play the mp3.

Just below that, you will see the score, if you have the Scorch plugin. Otherwise, a blank where the score ought to be. Here you can view the score and listen to the Scorch playback (GM), not a good sound, usually.

Below this, under the heading of details, you will see a choice to download the mp3 file, which is the best choice if you want to hear, and don't have broadband.

    Fascinating!

    Richard, this is wonderful!

I've heard quite a lot of organ literature, and never anything quite like this. I have only one thing to add:

    Bravo!

A unique, and strangely moving work, my compliments!

    I agree with EtLux,

    Fantastic.

This is dovetailing nicely with my current electronic ambient trend. I am hoping to combine my ambient ideas with the classical orchestra - a lifetime endeavor, so I hope I live as long as you will!

Your organ pieces are giving me lots of ideas.

By the way, are you author of 79761.mp3 ?? (Another organ piece). I like that one too. The pair go well together.

This is fantastic Richard! I soaked in every note. Your originality sometimes amazes me. Waiting anxiously for the 2 organ version. I can use a pick me up.

Just stopped back for another listen to this outstanding organ piece, Richard.

Love the hat, by the way -- have one just like it.

Yes nice piece. That is fun to listen to.

Snappy hat there. I got to get me one of those. Just don't think I could pull off the cool look with out the noble gray.

How rude of me. I noticed that spiffy hat when I first came into the thread but didn't comment on it. Move over Paul Newman.

Well, unfortunately, when I tried to bleach the hat white, all I succeeded in doing was disolving a large part of the hat. Now I have got to break in another one. In 1973 or so, one of this hat's predecessors flew off my head while I was at a rest stop on a freeway, and the hat rolled furiously down the freeway heading back to Fresno.
