surprised haven't seen this here:
mac version forthcoming as well.
I listened to the gigaviolin. It's not bad for a traditional sampler instrument, if a little metallic sounding.Originally Posted by Drew Buchan

That's great news indeed! The whole rewire thing never really turned me on.
I hope TASCAM will offer a sweet deal for registred GS3 users..
The only problem is where this leaves the VSL Performance Tool. I haven't actually used it yet, but I understand it's standalone, and I don't see them developing a plugin version of it now that they have their own player on the market. So I may end up having to stick with the standalone Giga setup in order to use VSL.
yeah I've alwayz preferred plugin-style....had to run away from Giga in the past. Even though Kontakt is my main sampler now, I am hyper-sensitive to GUI and Giga's might be better.Originally Posted by unison
The other issue now of course is a lot of good stuff is already available now in virtual instrument form, so I'm primarily looking for the best plug-in sampler to run stuff like Spectrasonics/Hans Zimmer guitars 1 & 2.
I told you guys that the platform thing was not the biggest news...
There is more that they have not announced yet. To me, the best parts are still unannounced. I'm not sure when they'll get to it.
I hope so. I'm a little put off by the fact that say GVI user can upgrade to GS3 Orch. Where does that leave someone who hopes for fair GVI pricing as a registered GS3 user? Free copy of GVI, I hopeOriginally Posted by Bruce A. Richardson
Indeed a huge concern. Anyone got any optimistic thoughts for Perf. Tool Users??Originally Posted by Pingu
