"Anchors Away" - by Brian Sadler

Brian Sadler has sent in a refreshing interpretation of "Anchors Away".

The guitar is played by his friend and co-worker Rob Marquis.

Excellent job Brian. This work is full of energy and very cinematic.

Thanks for sharing this with us.

That's a remarkable rendition. I like the way you break the melody down and play with it, using its little pieces as rhythmic and motific foundations! BRAVO

OK, Brian...as a retired Navy guy this was music to my ears. Excellent development of the material. With the cool guitar section it should be used by Navy recruiting.

Thanks for the comments. Glad everyone likes it! Especially you, Bill. This piece represents my feelings for the Navy. It may sound evil, but it's also full of excitment. And I've had a lot of good times too that I'll never forget. I think I'm going to put some slides to it or something. That should really beef it up.
