    Question MP3 Tag Editor - ?

What do folks use for an MP3 tag editor?

I've tried several, but can't say I'm particularly pleased with any of them.

Believe it or not, Windows Media Player seems to do the trick for me (and it lets you edit WMA tags too). I don't know about Macs though.

They are referring to the ID3 tags of MP3 files. These tags contain artist information, track genre, and other miscellanious information.

Here's the one I use (or inside Windows or Winamp):

I use this for bulk tagging, especially for playlist creation for my iPod.

Does it support WMA files? The bulk tagging would be a really useful feature for me.

On Windows, you can just right-click on the file (mp3 or wma), go to Properties, and go to the "Summary" tab. You can do this to more than one file at a time too, if you want the values to be the same. Unless I'm missing something...

Windows allows a quick and simple edit, but not all tags are available for editing.

    Ah, this is true.

Someone mentioned Windows Media Player as well. If you right-click on the file in the "Library" and go to "Advanced Tag Editor" you have many more options... still not sure it allows all the tags, but there's a bunch
