Elgar's Pomp & Circumstance in public domain???

Does anyone here know if Elgar's Pomp & Circumstance march No. 1 in D Major (the one we are all familiar with at graduation ceremonies) is in the public domain or not. I am assuming the publishing is still under copyright. It was premiered in 1901. Elgar died in 1934. But I am not sure and before I bog down the lawyer in researching the copyright stuff...if anyone knows where I can find this out quickly myself...it would be much appreciated.

    Thx.
