Looks cool! I have a question though.

I'm on Logic 7 running EXS and Kontakt 2. I prefer to have most of my libs in EXS format due to the great convenience and optimization of resources, though I do use Kontakt 2 when necessary.

Anyone have any experience transferring the LPC Guitars to EXS? Is there any programing that can only be utilized in Kontakt 2 or giga?

Hello JT3_Jon,

As LPC includes Giga2.0 format files, you can import them into EXS, but you'll miss some important features such as LPC's Realtime legato instruments because Real time legato make use of the Giga3's Legato mode, and Kontakt2's scripting feature.
You'll also lose the 'big' articulations which include a large number of samples, dimensions(groups), key swicthes and controllers.

You own Kontakt2, you can make full use of LPC without working hard to convert and tweak the huge number of the all the articulations.

You're not only a highly skillful sample designer (LPC is IMO simply the BEST electric guitar lib available, and PCP has no equivalent), but you're also a very friendly and responsive individual, who always replies fast and warmly.
And more, you're very generous : I just received the kontakt version of LPC that you were so kind to send me for free (while many other developers significantly charge a xgrade version), just because I purchased the lib when it was only GS format.
