Hello,
Being a student with limited resources, I'm still on the fence with this deal (I know I'm nuts if I miss it, but I have to prioritizeMy next personal project is to create some great progressive rock music, thus I will be in the market for some great guitar samples, and hearing all the wonderful demos have really turned me on to the possibilities with this library.
I have a few questions though. First of all, do you have any "dropped tuning" power chords for todays rock rhythm guitar? Also, how difficult is it to produce these guitar parts in "real life?" I've seen your .mov file and it looks very easy, however I'd like some feedback from users if at all possible. Does it take allot of computer resources? Is it fairly easy to program and tweak? Is it one of those libs that you must put down a rough idea first using a simple patch, and then go back and change articulations, etc due to its complexity?
Also, I plan on getting the clean guitar sounds and running them through a combination of Logics Guitar Amp and my brothers external POD unit. Should I be able to achieve good results for Prog Rock music using these amp simulators and the clean lib? I've heard what was done on the clean demos with Guitar Rig, and was wondering if something similar can be achieved with tools I already own.
Sorry for all the questions! Even with the deal this is a bit of an investment for me. I thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

POD works very fine with LPC.

I hope this helps.

I'm wondering: would that performance multi as shown in the video only work in Kontakt or also in Kompakt?

Kontakt1.5 can not load a .nki /.nkm file which was saved with Kontakt2.Originally Posted by Mosquito
And as the multi uses Kontakt2's script processor, the multi can not be reproduced with Kontakt1.5.
